With deep roots in the Shallowater community, I pride myself on my commitment to the success and empowerment of our students. –Aaron Morris

Our family roots run deep in Shallowater. My grandfather was a principal in the district and my three daughters are 4th generation Shallowater students. My father was an All-State football player and head basketball coach for almost 30 years.

I believe that the focus should be shifted back toward the kids. I know the district needs to adapt and plan accordingly for the growth of Shallowater students which means hiring and retaining the best educators possible. With me, there are no hidden agendas or politics - I am here 100% for the kids and the educators. I know that building a strong team starts from the ground up.

I have been the president of Shallowater Youth Basketball for the last five years and love getting to coach my three girls - Kambell, Kennedi, and Karter. An Avid sports fan, I enjoy being on the court with my girls and taking in any game I can. Our family enjoys Sunday mornings at Hillside Christian Church, visiting the lake in the summer and our precious dog, Lola.
